Tribute to Leslie McKeown

My sincere condolences to Peko san and Jubei san. If I hadn’t become a fan of Leslie at the tender age of 15, it is totally possible that I wouldn’t have become interested in learning English as much as I did. The song “Saturday night” even helped me in the high school entrance exam in which the spelling of “Saturday” was asked. I believe passing of celebrity who dominated one’s teenage heart brings a lot of memories that are normally deeply tucked away. I will continue to listen to their songs for a few more days and immerse myself in the crazy tartan days. What would I have said if someone told me at that time that I would have my own tartan pattern via marriage someday? With much love, Harumi
